Responsibilities
- Adhere to all safety programs and policies
- Day-to-day troubleshooting, repair, and installation of low and high voltage industrial electromechanical and control systems
- Provide technical support and plant leadership for equipment troubleshooting and modifications
- Perform both uptime and downtime preventative maintenance in adherence to the master PM schedule
- Corrective maintenance work orders
- Find, troubleshoot, and repair problems independently
- Familiarity with PLCs and control circuits
- Identify I/O points on schematics and locate associated I/O points on the PLC
- Assist with system startups and operational checkouts
- Interface and communicate with equipment operators and maintenance staff
- Write procedures, work instructions, and work orders and maintain records of repairs
- Aid in execution of action plans related to health and safety
- Maintain high awareness and follow best practices for GMP, Safety, and Sanitation
Requirements
- Read, interpret, and modify electrical prints and schematics
- Document all self-created changes
- Understand Plant electrical systems, including DC Voltage and AC Voltage 24 V to 480 V
- Proficiency in electrical installations with conduit and wiring practices
- Experience using sensing and control devices
- Overall responsibility for ensuring safety of the workplace
- Support, follow, and support the Lock-Out/Tag-Out program
- Working knowledge of PLCs, HVAC systems, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Qualifications
- Basic tools provided by the company
- Specialty tools available upon request
- Reliable transportation required
- Willingness to work any shift schedule, including nights and weekends
- Willingness to work overtime if necessary
- Ability to read and write in English or Spanish
- Ability to successfully complete HACCP Certification
- Ability to learn and perform minor machining and welding tasks
