Training
- Pace Calls that align with the employee’s IDP goals
- Certification(s) in electrical, plumbing, framing, waste water or HVAC desired
- Ability and willingness to obtain certifications.
Camp Or Job Specific Working Conditions
- Must be capable of spending most of the workday standing or walking.
- Must be adaptable to all work environments, inside and out.
- Must be capable of working on projects over/above head, as well as bending, kneeling, crawling in/around attics, crawl spaces, etc.
- Capable of digging, shoveling and raking various compounds.
Job Specific Working Conditions
- This is an hourly position ranging from $17.28 - $22.00/hour based on experience.
- Currently this position comes with a 17% COLA and a housing stipend (when applicable) which are subject to change.
- Young Life's Lost Canyon operates year-round with significant guest group usage from May - October, and steadily with weekend groups throughout the school season.
- Camp is located in Williams, Arizona, a small town that sits at about 7,000 feet elevation about 3 hours north of Phoenix, and about 35 minutes west of Flagstaff.
- Lost Canyon is a welcoming community with the majority of staff living off camp in Williams.
- Northern Arizona is a spectacular place to live, with the Grand Canyon and Mt. Humphrey's about an hour away, along with many other outdoor recreation areas within a few hours.
