About the Role

The Maintenance Technician II will perform advanced tasks related to production machines, including troubleshooting and repairs with minimal oversight. This role involves analyzing equipment, developing daily goals and strategies, and ensuring all equipment operates effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular inspections and repairs on production equipment, and assist in machine repairs.
  • Train others in machine repairs and maintenance.
  • Work efficiently with the work order system (EAM) to document repairs and preventive maintenance throughout the plant.
  • Set up new equipment, troubleshoot issues using specialty tools, and determine the most effective repair methods.
  • Perform light repairs and daily housekeeping in work areas.
  • Provide feedback to supervisors on maintenance status and submit end-of-shift reports via email.
  • Utilize basic machinist skills, including operating a vertical mill and lathe.
  • Interpret blueprints and part drawings to perform maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain a basic understanding of welding and fabrication.
  • Keep a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of three years of related experience and/or training.
  • Ability to obtain forklift and aerial lift platform licenses.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management software and the Microsoft Software Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).

An Associate’s degree in a related technical field is strongly preferred.
