Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair boilers, pumps, compressors, filters, tanks, and other equipment in machine rooms.
- Maintain and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, including associated components.
- Service and repair pasteurizing equipment to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Maintain and repair automated conveyors, case handling systems, filling equipment, and packaging machinery.
- Maintain and repair blow molding equipment used in production operations.
- Maintain and repair high- and low-pressure plumbing, piping, and vacuum systems.
- Fabricate, modify, and build components as required to support operations.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues to the component level, including interpreting and applying electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Provide training and guidance to new maintenance team members to ensure safe and effective work practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma, General Education Degree (GED), or International Education Equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment as a maintenance technician or mechanic.
- Working knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge of food safety and regulatory compliance standards preferred.

Physical demands
Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. Frequently required to stand and walk. Must be able to reach, bend, extend, and lift 50–60 pounds.
Work environment
The work environment may require working in cooler rooms with varying temperatures and may include contact with water or dairy liquids. Exposed to noise levels up to 90 decibels. Wet/slippery work conditions.
