Maintenance Tech II

What You’ll Do

• Maintain, repair, and calibrate industrial machinery.
• Execute preventative maintenance.
• Identify and troubleshoot problems and failures.
• Follow safety guidelines.
• Practice 5S principles.
• Engage in continuous improvement on the shop floor.
• Perform maintenance on heavy machinery.
• Manage inventory.
• Work with peers on TPM for shop equipment.

Requirements

• Basic math, readings, and computer skills.
• Able to use mechanical measuring devices and complex testing equipment.
• Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Vocational training plus 8 to 10 years of work experience.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Able to lift, push, and pull between 30 to 60 pounds.
• Effective communication skills.
• Curtain wall industry experience highly preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to contribute to a safe & enjoyable work environment.
• Able to work collaboratively with a team.
• Able to effectively manage time to meet production schedules.
• Able to fully understand and interpret fabrication drawings.
