What You’ll Do
- Maintain, repair, and calibrate industrial machinery.
- Execute preventative maintenance.
- Identify and troubleshoot problems and failures.
- Follow safety guidelines.
- Practice 5S principles.
- Engage in continuous improvement on the shop floor.
- Perform maintenance on heavy machinery.
- Manage inventory.
- Work with peers on TPM for shop equipment.
Requirements
- Basic math, readings, and computer skills.
- Able to use mechanical measuring devices and complex testing equipment.
- Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Vocational training plus 8 to 10 years of work experience.
- Able to read and interpret blueprints.
- Able to lift, push, and pull between 30 to 60 pounds.
- Effective communication skills.
- Curtain wall industry experience highly preferred.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to contribute to a safe & enjoyable work environment.
- Able to work collaboratively with a team.
- Able to effectively manage time to meet production schedules.
- Able to fully understand and interpret fabrication drawings.
