Job Title: Maintenance Tech II | Req ID: 18401 | HR Contact: Paul Gardner | Location: Building Envelope - Saginaw, MI - Plastatech, Building Envelope - Oscoda, MI - OP Duro-Last Roofing, the world’s largest manufacturer of prefabricated roofing systems and a division of Holcim Solutions & Products, has an opening for a Maintenance Technician in their Saginaw, Michigan plant. This is a full-time, hourly position with excellent benefits. Essential Functions Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment.Operate a variety of hand and power tools to complete tasks as assigned.Troubleshoot and repair machinery.Maintain facility and associated equipment.Work with maintenance vendors.Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.Complete and submit company purchase requisitions.Install equipment and electrical components and test to ensure proper functioning.Ensure all machinery follows federal, state, and company safety standards. Requirements 3-5 years industrial plant maintenance or electrical experience is highly desired.Ability to read and interpret instructions and operations manuals and follow step-by-step instructions.Must have experience with Industrial Controls.Mechanically inclined, and able to perform physical labor, lifting & operating machinery.Ability to read blueprints and experienced with fabrication.Excellent safety and attendance record.Must be able to work overtime when required.Self-motivated and be able to multi-task.High attention to detail and be exceptionally organized.Must have initiative and be able to work in a team and individually.
