Ingram Content Group (ICG) is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to join our Distribution team in Chambersburg, PA. This role involves performing complex diagnostics and repairs on distribution center facilities and equipment, ensuring all equipment is maintained to OEM standards.
About the role
This technician partners with leadership to support internal customers and the maintenance team, contributing to a high-efficiency distribution environment. Safety and process improvement are core values, supported by training, education, and innovations like voice and Radio Frequency (RF) technologies.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate equipment failures and perform complex emergency/unscheduled repairs to minimize downtime and meet service level agreements.
- Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production/facility machines.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders to perform required maintenance and services.
- Conduct regularly scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Detect faulty operations, defective materials, and make necessary repairs; report unusual situations to supervision.
- Operate motorized equipment such as forklifts, order selectors, pallet jacks, floor sweepers, etc., for driving and repairs.
- Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Assist in maintaining documentation for facility and equipment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 year of experience as a technician in a production or manufacturing environment, or equivalent year-for-year directly related education.
Preferred Qualifications
- General understanding of facility electrical wiring and power distribution.
- General understanding of mechanical functions/applications.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and prints.
- Electrical troubleshooting ability, including AC/DC control wiring and relay logic.
- Basic understanding of PLC.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment.
- Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Knowledge of servo, hydraulic, and pneumatically actuated equipment.
- Knowledge of INFOR-EAM or comparable Maintenance Management System.

Pay
Starting rate at $30.25 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
D Shift: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 7pm–7am, plus every other Saturday 7pm–7am.
