About the role
North American Forgemasters is seeking a Multi‑Craft Maintenance technician for a full‑time hourly position in New Castle, PA. The role reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and is ideal for candidates with a strong background in heavy industrial maintenance who are ambitious self‑starters passionate about manufacturing.

Responsibilities
- Observe all safety rules and regulations, and meet all safety program requirements.
- Maintain work area in a clean, orderly, and safe condition per the housekeeping policy.
- Complete daily duties including crane and mobile equipment preventive‑maintenance inspections.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems to determine and correct root causes.
- Perform welding and repair of mobile equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair machines and equipment of all types (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, civil, and combustion systems).
- Apply strong knowledge of power distribution and motor control to repair 480 V systems.
- Provide coverage as needed for other maintenance technicians.
- Work rotating shifts with required overtime.
- Perform work in accordance with the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- Abide by all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1–3 years of heavy industrial work experience.
- Hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical experience (preferred).
- General computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
- Knowledge of operating overhead cranes and fork trucks.
- Clean criminal background investigation.
- Clean urine and hair‑follicle drug screening (performed upon offer of employment).
