Maintenance Tech I, 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting tasks using vendor manuals and procedures.
• Work with hand tools and develop expertise in hydraulics, electrical systems, and industrial batteries (including watering, washing, testing, and repair).
• Receive training to work with electricity and to operate power material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, electric pallet jacks) and obtain MHE certification.
• Enroll in company-provided courses to expand knowledge and skills.
• Adhere to safety procedures and ensure safe work practices in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations.
• Lift, push, or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 and 100 pounds by hand.
• Work at heights up to 40 feet or more as needed.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent legally permissible.
• Willingness to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; additional overtime hours may be required based on business need.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Skills

• Mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn about hydraulics, electrical systems, and industrial batteries.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic English language skills (both verbal and written).
• Ability to collaborate inclusively with colleagues and customers.
• Comfort working in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations.
