Maintenance Tech - HVAC, Days
Job Purpose
Responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and systems. Maintain the safe operation of highly complex systems and equipment.
Systems May Include
- Electronic/pneumatic environmental controls
- Fan powered boxes and auxiliary equipment (various pumps, heat exchangers, air compressors, etc.)
- Chiller operations
- BAS controls
- Pump operations
- Water treatment program
- Air handler units
- VAVs
- Walk-in coolers and freezers
- Refrigerators
- Ice machines
- Boiler operations
Qualifications
Minimum Education Required: High school diploma or GED
Minimum Experience Required: Three (3) years of Maintenance Tech experience to include HVAC experience. Experience may be substituted if graduate from a HVAC program. For systems that include BAS controls, experience must include one (1) year of commercial/healthcare HVAC/HVAC BAS experience or graduation from a BAS program.
Minimum Licensure/Certification Required by Law: EPA Universal Certification
Additional Qualifications: Valid Georgia driver's license & adhere to Piedmont's Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program policy 3500 criteria preferred.
