Responsibilities
- Perform painting and surface preparation to maintain buildings, equipment, and facility appearance
- Complete preventative and responsive building maintenance tasks
- Perform remodeling as needed
- Work from ladders and lifts when needed
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition
- Manage maintenance-related inventory and materials
- Assist with training new employees and team members
- Respond to maintenance needs in a timely manner to support plant operations
- Follow all safety, environmental, and quality standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in commercial, industrial, or facility painting preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality craftsmanship
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email
- Ability to read work instructions and perform basic math calculations
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift up to 35 lbs.; occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work from elevated platforms
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
