Essential Job Functions
- Comply with all applicable rules, policies, standards and guidelines related to employment with Westminster Services and its communities.
- Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Perform basic functions that are mechanical inclined with hand tools and operate power tools.
- Change light bulbs, A/C filters, filters, and ceiling tiles.
- Hook-up sinks and toilets/urinals.
- Take temperature readings and boiler room readings.
- Test generator and other equipment & pumps.
- Repair minor leaks less than 1” in diameter.
- Assist as required Maintenance Mechanic/Engineer with major projects.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in carpentry.
