Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe and ethical work practices. Ask for help when needed or unsure.
• On time completion of assigned Preventive Maintenance (PM).
• Daily maintenance tasks include checking and filling oil and coolant, cleaning machines, collecting trash and recyclables.
• Complete other assigned work orders on time, working alone or assisting as part of the team.
• Help in production areas or run machines when needed.
• Perform industrial/plant functions such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, miscellaneous facility repairs, and minor electrical/mechanical systems.
• Maintain, repair, and replace equipment and/or parts as needed.
• Ensure timely and accurate recordkeeping of all duties performed.
• Work with outside maintenance crews for more specialized projects.
• Take direction from the Maintenance Supervisor or named active lead for all maintenance-related work and from the cell lead when helping with production.
• Must have own tools.
• Demonstrate understanding, support, and consistent application of our Vision, Mission, and Core Values.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-year previous maintenance experience, trade or technical school preferred.
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and all types of production/industrial machines.
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization both written and verbally.
• Clear communication in English, both verbal and written.
• Able to function alone or as part of a team.
• Able to pass internal forklift and scissor lift certifications.
• Able to follow Lockout/Tag out and Hot Work procedures.
• Able to read and interpret manuals, specifications, drawings, and blueprints.
• Ability or willingness to learn to operate machine tools.
• Able to maintain a high level of attention to detail.
• Hydraulic experience or skills are a plus.
• Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain and hold a forklift certification.
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.

Pay

$28.00 - 30.00 per hour based on experience.

Schedule
