Duties And Responsibilities
- Performs general maintenance operations, such as, welding, pipe fitting, leveling of machinery, carpentry, and other operations.
- Sets up and operates machinery, such as, saws, drill presses, wood working equipment, pipe threaders, and other machinery incidental to general maintenance work.
- Troubleshoots (assembles, disassembles, repairs, and installs) mechanical and electrical equipment and systems.
- Erects, installs, tests, and maintains equipment and structures, such as, jib cranes and air compressors.
- Sets up and operates production equipment as required.
- Follows lockout procedures for each piece of equipment serviced.
- Ensures that safety and housekeeping standards are met and maintained.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalency test / GED.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- 1+ years experience in manufacturing environment.
- Experience in electrical maintenance, including knowledge of electrical maintenance principles, basic electronics, electrical circuitry, pneumatics, and the ability to read schematic diagrams.
