Maintenance Tech

About the role

TCA Health is seeking a Maintenance Tech to perform basic maintenance and light repairs, assist with landscaping, and handle other duties as assigned. This position requires a combination of physical strength, technical knowledge, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance and light repairs.
• Paint and fill gaps or crevices (on walls, sidewalks, etc.).
• Repair equipment or appliances.
• Auxiliary with electrical, plumbing, or HVAC repairs.
• Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks (e.g., shoveling snow, spills).
• Identify and report the needs for major repairs.
• Complete work orders as assigned in a safe and efficient manner.
• Identify and report any issues or safety concerns.
• Perform routine landscaping on the grounds for each facility.
• Assist with lifting, moving, loading, and unloading.
• Document and maintain records of work performed.
• Maintain work across multiple TCA locations.
• Assist the Facilities & Maintenance Supervisor with work assignments as requested.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment.
• General understanding of electrical, plumbing, or HVAC systems.
• Experience cleaning facilities by sweeping, dusting, mopping, etc.
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Well-organized with great attention to detail.
• Flexible scheduling option.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating a variety of equipment including snow blowers and power tools.
• Able to complete multiple projects in a timely manner.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license (and insurance?)
