Maintenance Tech

Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • Examine machines to diagnose issues
  • Dismantle machines, replace defective parts, reassemble machines and make necessary adjustments
  • Repair CNC machines and/or robotics
  • Occasionally make replacement parts
  • Clean filters and general PM on coolant systems and mist collection components
  • Change or add oils and lubricants to production equipment
  • General cleaning and organization of tools and maintenance area
  • Provide work training to less experienced maintenance staff

What Skills And Experience Are Needed

  • Ability to work under limited supervision with minimal technical guidance
  • Effective communication skills with co-workers and supervisors
  • Preventive industrial maintenance experience preferred, but not required
  • Experience with CNC grinding, machining equipment, or HVAC a plus but not required
  • Basic hand tool proficiency
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

  • Standing, sitting, bending, and climbing required
  • Lifting and working inside of machines occasionally
