Maintenance Tech

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, safety‑minded Maintenance Technician to join our team at Parkview Flats in Murfreesboro, TN. The technician will care for residents and the community by maintaining and repairing a wide range of property systems and amenities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair electrical and plumbing systems, including water lines.
• Service A/C and heating systems.
• Maintain appliances where applicable.
• Maintain water irrigation systems.
• Repair stairs, gates, fences, patios, and railings.
• Maintain tile, carpet, and other flooring.
• Service interior and exterior lighting.
• Maintain fireplaces and ceiling fans.
• Repair gas fixtures and appliances where applicable.
• Service shutters, doors, cabinets, windows, and sliding glass doors.
• Maintain boiler, gas, and/or electric systems.
• Repair door locks, P.O. boxes, and other locking mechanisms.
• Service security systems where applicable.
• Address ceiling leaks.
• Maintain pool areas, including tile and pool furniture.
• Assist with moving appliances and keep the property clean.

Requirements

• Own a truck or have reliable transportation.
• Ability to take rotating weekend calls and on‑call emergencies.
• Valid driver’s license with proof of auto‑insurance coverage.
• Strong safety orientation and customer‑service focus.
