Maintenance Tech

About the role

The Maintenance Tech position at Lincoln Park Healthcare Campus is responsible for maintaining the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition. The role involves repairing and monitoring various mechanical systems, conducting routine maintenance, and performing a range of tasks including cleaning, painting, and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Perform repairs on refrigeration, kitchen equipment, and other systems
• Maintain heating and cooling systems to ensure functionality
• Conduct daily routine maintenance rounds
• Clean, replace, and inspect PTAC and HVAC filters
• Conduct exterior repair as needed
• Conduct wall repairs, painting, and carpentry as required
• Replace ballast, bulbs, and fuses as necessary

Requirements

• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Working knowledge of power tools and hand tools, common appliances, and devices
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
• Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Healthcare maintenance experience a plus

Pay

$20.00 per hour
