Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for handling privileged and confidential information in a secure manner, working safely with high voltages, chemicals, and mechanical assemblies, and thinking and acting with security in mind. Specific tasks include:

• Minor housekeeping and production tasks
• Grounds keeping of all kinds, year round
• Electrical and mechanical repairs
• Preventive maintenance on all production machinery and facility
• Continuously improving your skill set and methods of performing your job
• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be able to stand for long periods of time, have a high level of dedication and motivation for your job with a positive attitude, and be able to lift at least 50 lbs. You must also be familiar with safety standards and PPE utilized in a manufacturing setting, have reliable transportation, and be able to read and write English.

• Education and/or experience with electrical and mechanical maintenance
• Must provide required tools and secure storage for them
• Excellent attendance with the requirement for overtime work as needed
• The ability to respond to an after-hours call in, promptly anytime day or night
• Basic Computer and industrial automation skills
