Chicago Behavioral Hospital (CBH) is a cutting‑edge 147‑bed inpatient facility in Des Plaines, Illinois, providing exceptional therapeutic care, an outpatient partial hospitalization program, and a commitment to accessible care regardless of ability to pay. As a Maintenance Worker you will help maintain a safe, functional environment that supports patient well‑being and the hospital’s mission of compassionate, innovative mental health treatment.

Responsibilities

• Painting
• Carpentry
• Plumbing
• Electrical work
• HVAC maintenance
• Testing and inspections of physical plant equipment
• Preventive maintenance
• Various janitorial duties

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred; two years of technical or trade school preferred.
• Experience operating various hand/power tools and equipment while observing proper safety precautions.
• Experience in building maintenance and basic mechanical engineering.

Pay

This is a full‑time role and the expected compensation range for this role is $18.00‑$24.00 per hour. Consideration will be given to experience and skill level.
