Major Duties And Responsibilities
- Follows and complies with company work and safety rules.
- Limits problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listens for problems; uses precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Removes defective parts by dismantling devices using hand and power tools, examines form and function of parts, looks for defects and irregularities.
- Repairs or replaces broken or malfunctioning components.
- Determines changes in size of worn parts by inspecting them using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments and compares to specifications.
- Reads technical manuals to understand equipment and controls.
- Adjusts and calibrates equipment and machinery to optimal specifications.
- Checks the performance of machinery.
- Maintains work areas, tools, and equipment in a clean, orderly, and good housekeeping manner.
- PLC troubleshooting, installs and runs conduits for 240.
- Repairs and troubleshoots for both pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Electrical Technician troubleshooting all types of electrical panels, changes belts, motors, and conveyors.
- Repairs hydraulic presses, spot welders.
Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
- Hearing protection is provided.
- One may also be exposed to heat, fumes, and dirt.

Education and/or Experience
- 5 or more years of relevant experience.
- Degree or certificate in industrial maintenance a definite plus.
Language Skills
- Fluent in English.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
General Skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to use trades math, read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
- The ability to use precision measuring instruments and tools.
Reasoning Ability
- Requires the use of considerable judgement to perform difficult maintenance work, diagnose equipment problems and make repairs, modifications, and adjustments.
