About the role
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician will perform routine preventative maintenance and repair of machines. They will troubleshoot emergency maintenance on machines as necessary to support plant operations. They will troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical failures. They will read, manage, and perform work orders of required maintenance services. They will contact vendors and OEMs when needed to request tech support or parts. They will troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, DC Drives, and Touchscreens. They will use SAP to account for time worked and to issue parts for storeroom. They will use SAP to view work notifications and create work orders.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical failures.
- Read, manage, and perform work orders of required maintenance services.
- Contact vendors and OEMs when needed to request tech support or parts.
- Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, DC Drives, and Touchscreens.
- Use SAP to account for time worked and to issue parts for storeroom.
- Use SAP to view work notifications and create work orders.
Requirements
- 3+ years in Industrial Maintenance or combination of experience and training.
- PLC troubleshooting, inputs/outputs, and change outs of programs.
- Experience with both Siemens, and Allen Bradley Software Pkgs.
- Be familiar with high-pressure boiler systems and steam systems repairs.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems (bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes).
- High and low voltage experience.
- Ability to operate all functions on a multimeter/megohmmeter to diagnose a variety of electrical issues.
- Experience with a variety of sensors: proximity, IR, capacitive, resistive, laser, pressure, and temperature.
- Ability to read and understand pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schematics.
- Troubleshoot and replace both AC and DC motor systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite of common programs including outlook, excel, word, and powerpoint.
- Ability to learn and teach new skills to others.
Qualifications

- Pay Rate: $39.84 plus night differential
- Sign-on Bonus: $500 after 30 days, $500 after 6 months
