Maintenance Tech 2

Essential Duties

• Service to inside and outside vendors in a friendly and outgoing manner
• Maintain a clean atmosphere
• Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Technicians, Production Supervisors, and Production Employees
• Perform routine and corrective maintenance duties in a welding environment
• Follow the maintenance program to protect and maintain the property

Qualifications

• Full-time (40 hour) position required to be available for emergency calls
• Minimum of 2 years’ maintenance experience
• Direct experience with maintenance planning and computer systems
• Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
• Professionalism and ability to work independently and effectively with others
• Detail-oriented, able to take directions from the Maintenance Supervisor, and handle multiple tasks
• Prioritize work effectively and see a work project through to completion
• Strong working knowledge of basic trades, including welding, electrical (up to 480VAC, 3 Phase), plumbing, hydraulics/pneumatics, and painting equipment
• PLC and VFD experience is a plus
• Ability to analyze and interpret technical aspects, pumps, and motors, mechanical systems with a similar degree of complexity
• Proficient and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams, and Excel applications
• Maintain a valid drivers’ license and reliable transportation
• Able to work on-call and extended hours (including after hours and weekends)
