Maintenance Tech - $2,000 Sign On Bonus - Days

About the role

Silfex Inc., a subsidiary of Lam Research, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for ensuring our manufacturing processes run smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe and clean workplace by following safety policies and reporting incidents.
• Maintain and repair mechanical and electronic equipment, including engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
• Locate and resolve issues by observing equipment operation, listening for problems, and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Conserve resources by managing equipment and supply inventories and updating the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMM).
• Assist other team members to gain insights and advance in the maintenance tech role.
• Fabricate and install components for repair as needed on manufacturing equipment.
• Resolve maintenance problems by consulting with operators, management, engineering, and quality control personnel.
• Perform minor electrical installations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge and understanding of industrial maintenance, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Strong understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, memos, and electrical schematics.
• Basic understanding of 5S and Lean manufacturing concepts.
• Basic understanding of automation and troubleshooting CNC equipment.
• Quality and safety-minded approach.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and troubleshoot electrical systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working towards or having completed an associate’s degree in maintenance/ engineering field.
• Completion of a certification from a Technical School or Trade School.
• Experience using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of 5S and Lean manufacturing.
