About the role
A Full Time job as a hands on Maintenance Team member at the Beachmere Inn, Ogunquit. We are looking for a well rounded person who is self directed as you may be working alone completing certain tasks and is a people person who likes working with the public.
Responsibilities
- Answering room maintenance calls
- Assisting the Front Desk at times procuring items for guest requests
- Helping in setting up and breaking down function spaces
- Delivering linen supplies to linen closets
- Working on clearing snow
- Painting
- Trash and recyclables removal
- Working on maintenance projects
Requirements
- Basic experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting
- Willingness to learn and pitch in wherever needed
- Self-directed and able to work independently
- People-oriented and enjoys interacting with guests
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform physical labor including walking, climbing stairs, and lifting
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Free employee parking on site
