About the Role

Lead the Rapid Response technician team in the Mountain Home facility, ensuring that maintenance tasks are safely and efficiently performed. Perform basic maintenance-related activities to support machine uptime. Act as a rapid response technician and troubleshooter while supporting broader maintenance activities. Actively support and strive to meet the strategic goals set by the facility and Danfoss Corporation.

Schedule

2nd Shift: 2:45 pm to 11:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Rapid Response team in learning, applying, and retaining new techniques, concepts, and procedures to continuously improve products, processes, services, deliveries, and overall quality.
  • Safely and effectively complete work requests and safety needs, ranging from mechanical repairs to replacing parts, while maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Coordinate the completion of required preventative maintenance activities, including lubrications and inspections.
  • Perform carrier repair and compliance audits on operator-level maintenance, report audit results to management, and escalate serious braider preventative maintenance needs.
  • Serve as the primary resource for braider rapid response activities, including triaging braiders, initiating work orders, monitoring downtime, and escalating issues if service level targets are not met.
  • Partner with maintenance service providers and assist with braider rebuilds and preventative maintenance (PM) activities to support equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain flexibility to move between work areas to meet customer delivery expectations and plant productivity goals.
  • Work efficiently to establish standards without constant supervision while promoting a team-oriented work environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Two (2) years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude to complete work requests as needed.
  • Annual safety training (LOTO, Fall Protection, Arc Flash, HAZMAT, etc.).
  • Ability to handle heavy lifting, standing, twisting, pulling, and similar motions for long periods exceeding six (6) hours.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to train and use lift trucks, scissor lifts, and booms with proper fall protection.
