Maintenance Support Coordinator

About the role

The Maintenance Support Coordinator assists the Maintenance Training Superintendent in the development and delivery of technical maintenance training at Pilgrim’s, a leading global food company. This role ensures maintenance team members are properly trained to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and restore equipment to a safe, operational, and sanitary-ready condition.

Responsibilities

• Support the Maintenance Training Superintendent by implementing structured maintenance training programs within the DuPont Training Program.
• Deliver hands-on technical training to all maintenance personnel.
• Train on mechanical systems including conveyors, drives, gearboxes, and pneumatics.
• Train on electrical fundamentals as applicable.
• Train on equipment-specific procedures such as baggers, fryers, ovens, and conveyors.
• Maintain training records and certification tracking.
• Develop and maintain visual training aids.
• Support and maintain equipment-specific training guides and materials.

Qualifications

• Technical or trade school education is preferred.
• Three to five or more years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong mechanical aptitude including drives, motors, bearings, conveyors, and pneumatics.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems preferred.
• Ability to provide hands-on technical training, standardize and simplify complex procedures, and coach and develop maintenance personnel.
