Accountabilities
- Perform diversified duties and repairs to maintain go-karts.
- Provide unscheduled repairs for attractions when issues arise.
- Conduct scheduled maintenance repairs of go-karts, following daily, weekly, monthly, and annual checklists to ensure safety and proper lubrication.
- Adhere to procedures and guidelines set forth by the manufacturer in all maintenance work on attractions.
- Ensure compliance with maintenance schedules specified by manufacturers.
- Keep comprehensive documentation, including repair logs, annual inspections, NDT testing, and grease bearings/bearings monitoring.
- Perform In Season checklists.
- Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, including torque wrenches and rattle can paint guns.
- Detect faulty operations, defective materials, and report them to proper supervision.
- Comply with OSHA safety regulations.
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Regularly review processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Foster a positive safety culture, ensuring the safety of employees and visitors at all times.
- Ensure compliance with Five Star Parks and Attractions' standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Education, Qualifications, and Experience
- High school or equivalent education required.
- Associate’s Degree or related technical school degree preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a maintenance-related position.
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain any government-required licenses, certificates, or permits.
Additional Information
- Must be able and willing to stand or walk for up to 10-hour shifts.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
- Highly organized with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a loud environment.
