Responsibilities Maintenance Supervisor responsibilities include but are not limited to Oversee maintenance activities for weekend shift keeping consistent with Safety, Food Safety, OSHA, and National Beef standardsCoach, train, instruct, develop, and evaluate maintenance team membersAudit and eliminate any unsafe hazards in the plantEnsure that all team members adhere to plant policies, Lock Out/Tag Out procedures, and safety standardsCollaborate with other departments regarding maintenance issuesConflict resolutionMotivate maintenance team to achieve goals and standards while holding them accountableEmergency managementCommunication/hand-off to incoming shiftWork with the First Shift supervisor for daily direction and goal setting for the maintenance departmentLead or participate in process improvement activitiesUse E-Maintenance software to track open and completed work for the departmentUse downtime reports and other data to optimize equipment PM’s and increase equipment uptimeAssist with troubleshooting and repair of down equipmentConduct performance evaluationsRoutinely inspect various elements of the building and groundsOther duties as assigned This is a safety sensitive position. This is an ON-SITE position. Qualifications Qualified candidates for the Maintenance Supervisor position should possess the following Ability to identify issues and decide on required actionsCompetence to plan maintenance schedulesStrong written and oral communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and delegation skillsAbility to analyze and solve problemsCompetency with computers and Microsoft Office SuiteCritical-thinking skillsPLC and Controls experienceRefrigeration experience a plus Qualified candidates for this position will be required to successfully complete the background check.
