Maintenance Supervisor (Tonawanda, NY) 2nd or 3rd Shift

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor role at 3M Tonawanda, NY involves leading and managing a team responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of manufacturing processes. This position requires a combination of technical expertise and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership, support and solutions for a wide variety of new or existing process equipment.
• Manage equipment maintenance, reliability and uptime, utilities operations, stockroom, buildings and grounds, and coordination of maintenance contractors.
• Foster teamwork within plant engineering and across other staff groups to prevent breakdowns, reduce cycle time, increase runtime, minimize waste, conserve energy, continually improve the quality of operations, and control costs.
• Absure compliance with company policies, government and regulatory agency laws, regulations, and codes.
• Work 2nd or 3rd Shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or higher.
• Three (3) years of team lead and/or supervisory experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Five (5) years or more of maintenance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science discipline from an accredited university.
• Five (5) years combined engineering process, technology or manufacturing experience.
• Project management experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Works well on cross-functional teams in a continuous improvement (LEAN) environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Pay & Benefits

The expected compensation range for this position is $95,591 - $116,834, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. Details are available at this link.
