About the role
Lofts at Savannah Park is a 138-unit apartment community in Sanford, Florida, offering amenities like a saltwater swimming pool, fitness center, dog park, and spacious apartments. Burlington Capital Properties seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance operations, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure the property is well-maintained.
Essential Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the daily maintenance operations of the community.
- Perform apartment maintenance including painting, appliance repair, and general repairs.
- Diagnose and repair plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and other building systems.
- Cook up and oversee work performed by outside contractors and vendors.
- Ensure completion of preventative maintenance programs.
- Participate in the rotating on-call schedule for emergency maintenance.
- Maintain the property's curb appeal and common areas.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents.
- Participate in resident events and community activities as requested.
- Follow all company safety policies and liability guidelines.
- Complete work orders accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- HVAC Certification required.
- Demonstrated experience with plumbing repairs and maintenance.
- Previous maintenance supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a maintenance team.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, and general building maintenance.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
- Able to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally lift or move items weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to safely perform all essential job functions, including participation in the on-call rotation.
