Maintenance Supervisor- Nights

About the role

This position oversees the maintenance of equipment and production operations, ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards. The role involves directing maintenance personnel, working with contractors, and troubleshooting equipment issues.

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates, and supports maintenance personnel
• Works with contractors, vendors, or company engineering for equipment modification or installation
• Sends and ensures the daily downtime report is sent out by crew leaders or backup crew leaders
• Schedules work to appropriate line owners and ensures smooth shift changes
• Manages work schedules, work orders, and PMs to enhance department efficiency and labor utilization
• Contributes to building and maintaining the budget, ensuring favorable results
• Manages R&M and REOs, drives predictive technologies, and leads reliability initiatives
• Executes PM programs, develops proactive work, and ensures plant reliability
• Drives continuous improvement initiatives and collaborates with vendors and engineering on plant projects
• Supports the progression system and ensures compliance with safety and code regulations

Requirements

• Education: Associate of Applied Science (A. A. S.) degree, equivalent technical school, or work experience
• Experience: 8-10 years previous industrial maintenance experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience with 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience
• Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions, GMPs, basic maintenance techniques, and mechanical systems
• Skills: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, clear communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and strong mechanical aptitude
