Maintenance Supervisor - Night Shift - St Joseph DAP

What You Will Do

The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for ensuring production requirements are met, maintaining appropriate staffing levels, fostering positive employee relations, and ensuring a safe and clean work environment. This role plans, directs, coordinates, and controls manufacturing activities within the assigned area to achieve operational and business objectives.

How You Will Do It

• Lead and train production personnel to perform work safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards.
• Maintain positive employee relations through coaching, communication, and consistent application of company policies.
• Plan staffing requirements and assign work to meet production schedules and customer demands.
• Monitor production performance, including productivity, scrap reduction, labor utilization, and operational efficiency.
• Enforce health, safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards.

What We Look For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work any assigned shift and required overtime.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, safety practices, and employee relations.

Preferred Experience

• In a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• In continuous improvement experience (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies).
• In a unionized manufacturing environment.
