Maintenance Supervisor - Night Shift

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor - Night Shift is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of plant and warehouse equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations. This role also involves supervising personnel, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise repairs, maintenance, cleaning, and installation of machines to ensure continuous production.
• Supervise general maintenance of building and grounds.
• Inspect machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards.
• Ensure all plant/DC systems are operating as required and within the specification limits for plant operations.
• Develop preventative maintenance plans for all equipment.
• Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies for required operations.
• Maintain attendance records, counsel employees with poor attendance, and follow up with coaching/discipline as appropriate.
• Communicate with peers, subordinates, and leaders in an effective, timely manner.
• Confer with management and suppliers to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2-3 years of equipment maintenance in manufacturing, including hydraulics, pneumatics, & electronics.
• 1 year of Lead or prior supervisory experience, preferably in the food industry.
