Maintenance Supervisor (Miramar & Beach Park)

About the role

The Neighborhood Service Manager at Prometheus is responsible for all physical operations of the Neighborhood, particularly the preservation and maintenance of the property. They lead the Neighborhood staff, manage budgets, oversee safety training, and maintain inventory.

Responsibilities

• Establish positive, productive relationships with the Neighborhood staff.
• Hire, train, and mentor staff members.
• Resolve problems and look out for the best interest of the Neighborhood.
• Manage the budget through cost-effective maintenance functions.
• Lead on-going safety training, capital projects, and vendor management.
• Maintain inventory and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Requirements

• A minimum of five years' experience and/or training in apartment maintenance.
• A minimum of two years supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Three certificates from related institutions reflecting completion of maintenance-related courses.
• A working knowledge of federal, state, and local governing laws.
• Physical abilities to stand, sit, walk, perform repetitive motions, listen, hear, and lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Qualifications

• Effective presentation and customer service skills.
• Availability to be on-call and available during non-standard hours.

Skills

• Knowledge of company policies and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and maintenance instructions.

Pay

The provided salary range is $40.25 to $44.00 per hour.
