Maintenance Supervisor (Miramar & Beach Park)

About the role

The Neighborhood Service Manager at Prometheus is responsible for all physical operations of the Neighborhood, particularly the preservation and maintenance of the property. They lead the team, manage budgets, oversee safety, and uphold company standards.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain positive relationships with the Neighborhood staff.
• Hire, train, and mentor staff members.
• Resolve problems and ensure the best interests of the Neighborhood.
• Manage the Neighborhood's budget through cost-effective maintenance functions.
• Oversee ongoing safety training, capital projects, vendor management, and inventory control.
• Be a knowledge holder of company policies and an example of compliance with rules and regulations.

Requirements

• A minimum of five years' experience and/or training in apartment maintenance.
• A minimum of two years supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of at least three certificates from related institutions, such as BOMA, IREM, and/or vocational programs.
• A working knowledge of federal, state, and local governing laws.
• Physical abilities to stand, sit, walk, perform repetitive motions, listen, hear, and lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Qualifications

A High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. You must have a minimum of three certificates from related institutions reflecting completion of maintenance related courses, such as: BOMA, IREM and/or vocational programs.

Skills

Effective presentation and response to questions from various groups, customer service skills, availability to assist when needed, and a strong understanding of federal, state, and local governing laws.

Pay

The pay range is $40.25 to $44.00 per hour, with additional incentives such as a discretionary semi-annual bonus plan, standby pay, and on-call premium pay.
