Maintenance Supervisor (Miramar & Beach Park)

About the role

The Neighborhood Service Manager at Prometheus is responsible for all physical operations of the Neighborhood, particularly the preservation and maintenance of the property. Key responsibilities include leadership, neighborhood management, and upholding standards.

Responsibilities

• Establish positive, productive relationships with the Neighborhood staff.
• Hire, train, and mentor staff members.
• Resolve problems and ensure the best interest of the Neighborhood.
• Manage the budget through cost-effective maintenance functions.
• Lead on-going safety training, manage capital projects, and oversee vendors and contractors.
• Maintain inventory and be a knowledge holder of company policies.

Requirements

• A minimum of five years' experience and/or training in apartment maintenance.
• A minimum of two years supervisory experience.
• Effective presentation and response to questions from various groups.
• Availability for on-call support during non-standard hours.

Qualifications

• A High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of at least three certificates from related institutions, such as BOMA, IREM, and/or vocational programs.
• A working knowledge of federal, state, and local governing laws.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Pay

The provided salary range is $40.25 to $44.00 per hour. Additionally, there is a discretionary semi-annual bonus plan, standby pay, and on-call premium pay. Other bonuses and incentives may apply.
