Responsibilities

• Supervise staff employees and outside contractors
• Identify, schedule, and coordinate building repairs
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance are performed in a workmanlike manner
• Support, train, and review repair work performed by URI Maintenance Workers
• Cookordinate scheduled preventative maintenance service work
• Cookordinate the completion of Service Requests
• Cookordinate the turnover of vacated residences
• Adequately repair materials and cleaning supplies
• Conduct regular inspections of the building and grounds
• Provide regular repair and maintenance updates to the Assistant Director
• Adhere to all local building codes as well as state and federal building regulations
• Respond to site emergencies as the situation requires

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• College Degree a plus

Schedule

• Frequent lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds
• Travel between sites throughout NYC
• Work outdoors in adverse conditions (heat or cold)
