About the role

Greystar is a leading real estate platform offering property management, investment management, development, and construction services in institutional-quality rental housing. The Maintenance Supervisor oversees maintenance tasks and ensures the cleanliness and appearance of the community.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders and routine upkeep
• Oversees make-ready process for vacant units
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of grounds and amenities
• Inspects work performed by other staff and contractors
• Maintains inventory and orders supplies
• Completes preventative maintenance
• Supports cost-cutting initiatives
• Conducts safety meetings and ensures compliance
• Treats residents and others with respect and responds to maintenance issues efficiently

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or related trades
• Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of tools and equipment
• Ability to apply logical thinking to solve problems
• Effective customer service and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating effectively
• Basic mathematical skills
• EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal (if required)
• Valid driver's license (if applicable)

Specialized Skills

• EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal (if required)
• All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is $27.00 - $29.00. Additional compensation includes a quarterly or annual bonus program, paid time off, and robust benefits such as medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, paid parental leave, and more.
