Maintenance Supervisor (Ironworks)

About the role

The Neighborhood Service Manager is responsible for all physical operations of the Neighborhood, particularly the preservation and maintenance of the property. Key responsibilities include leadership, neighborhood management, and upholding standards.

Responsibilities

• Establish positive, productive relationships with the Neighborhood staff.
• Hire, train, and mentor staff.
• Resolve problems and look out for the best interest of the Neighborhood.
• Manage the budget through cost-effective maintenance functions.
• Lead on-going safety training, manage capital projects, vendors, and contractors.
• Maintain inventory and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Requirements

• A minimum of five years' experience and/or training in apartment maintenance.
• A minimum of two years supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Three certificates from related institutions reflecting completion of maintenance related courses.
• A working knowledge of federal, state, and local governing laws.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

• On-call availability for help when needed.
• Physical abilities including standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening, hearing, and visual acuity.

Pay

The provided salary range is $40.25 to $44.00 per hour. Compensation also includes a discretionary semi-annual bonus plan, standby pay & on-call premium pay, and other bonuses & incentives.
