Maintenance Supervisor III

About the role

Sares Regis Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for our 246-unit community in Fremont, CA. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in property management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate employee activities and outside contractors engaged in maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings and grounds.
• Direct employees and contractors in apartment renovations, service requests, structural repairs, and ground maintenance.
• Obtain bids for work from outside contractors, assemble, analyze, and submit bids to superiors for approval.
• Order and receive supplies, appliances, and equipment from vendors.
• Coordinate and inspect work performed by outside vendors for conformance to specifications and standards.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to determine maintenance needs, required equipment, and scope of work.
• Study production schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for job completion.
• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Suggest improvements in working conditions and equipment use to increase work crew efficiency.
• Assist the Property Manager in planning and administering the maintenance budget.
• Participate in after-hours and emergency coverage as assigned.

Requirements

• 3+ years of related experience in property management as a Maintenance Supervisor for 200+ units.
• EPA and CPO certifications required.
• Experience in all trades.
• Excellent written, communication, and computer skills.
• Past supervisory experience.
• Current driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Able to work weekends and overtime as required.

Skills

• Yardi experience preferred.

Pay

Salary range is $39.00–$42.00 per hour.

Schedule

Days required: Monday – Friday.
