Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the maintenance team to ensure efficient daily operations and timely completion of work orders
- Perform and oversee preventative maintenance and repairs throughout the property
- Troubleshoot and repair issues involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general building systems
- Ensure guest rooms, public areas, and exterior spaces are maintained to Hilton brand standards
- Assist with scheduling, training, coaching, and performance support for maintenance team members
- Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and emergency situations as needed
- Maintain maintenance logs, inventory, and department records
- Cook up with outside vendors and contractors when necessary
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with housekeeping and front desk teams to support overall hotel operations and guest satisfaction
Skills & Requirements
- Previous maintenance or facilities experience required
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Able to lead and support a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and on-call situations as needed
- Positive attitude and team-first mindset
