About the role

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you'll oversee and perform technical and mechanical work to ensure the property meets our standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Manages maintenance team and assists in employee evaluations.
  • Interviews, hires, orients, and trains new hires.
  • Oversees the "Make Ready" process and work orders.
  • Periodically inspects work performed by others and contractors.
  • Maintains inventory and orders supplies.
  • Supports cost-cutting and expense control programs.
  • Completes monthly Preventative Maintenance procedures.
  • Ensures property maintenance team complies with company standards.
  • Conducts safety meetings and inspections.
  • Resolves customer complaints and issues.

Requirements

  • Available to work weekends when scheduled.
  • Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Frequent exposure to outside elements.
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA standards and MSDS regulations.
  • Technical degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of supervisor experience.
  • Management experience preferred.
  • Advanced communication and delivery skills.
  • Proficiency in internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs.
  • Strong proficiency in property management software.
  • EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
  • Certified Pool Operator or Certified Spa and Pool Operator certificate.
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights up to 20 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, stoop, and squat.
  • Ability to sit and perform keyboard work.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of apartment maintenance experience or equivalent.
  • Skills: Communication and delivery skills, computer skills, physical requirements, and travel requirements.

Pay

Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

40 hours in a regular work week. Typical Site Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday: 9am – 6pm, Saturday: 10am – 5pm, Sunday: 1pm – 5pm.
