About the role
The Arkansas Legal Fellowship program provides legal training and practical experience to law students who are interested in public service. Fellows work on a variety of projects related to civil rights, criminal justice reform, and other areas of public interest under the supervision of experienced attorneys.
Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting legal research and drafting legal documents
- Participate in client meetings and community outreach events
- Contribute to policy analysis and advocacy efforts
- Support the development and implementation of legal strategies
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a law school
- Strong academic record
- Interest in public service and civil rights issues
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Law degree from an accredited institution
- Passage of the bar exam
