Maintenance Supervisor, Energy

What You'll Do

• Hire, coach, lead and develop a team of technicians that maintain manufacturing equipment at Gigafactory Nevada
• Monitor metrics and Key Performance Indicator's (KPI's) to assess Safety, People, Quality, Cost and Productivity
• Focus to Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Response Times
• Drive improvement activities across the shift to increase team knowledge and skill capability, while working with equipment engineering to increase equipment uptime, availability and decrease scrap and NCM material
• Align with Engineering team to provide support for new equipment installation, startup, and hand over
• Improve preventative maintenance activities to decrease overall downtime
• Troubleshoot down equipment using root cause analysis and suggest long-term countermeasures for elimination of the failure mode
• Work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, defined plans, and written/verbal instructions

What You'll Bring

• 1+ years of supervisory experience is preferred
• Demonstrable experience with Fanuc robots, to include teaching and fault recovery
• PLC troubleshooting ability and experience
• Fabrication experience using extrusion and welded/milling equipment
• Effective verbal and written communications skills along with strong attention to detail, flexibility, and prioritization
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information
• Able to wear all required PPE associated with required tasks
• Sit, stand, and/or walk for 10+ hours per day, wear air purifying respirator as needed for specific tasks, Lift at least 20 lbs. on a regular basis, perform repetitive hand and wrist motions and sometimes may have to twist and bend body, and climb ladders/stairs
