Maintenance Supervisor - Day Shift
About the role
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of plant and warehouse equipment, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. This role also involves supervising staff, training new hires, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise repairs, maintenance, cleaning, and installation of machines to ensure continuous production.
- Inspect machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards.
- Ensure all plant/DC systems are operating as required and within the specification limits for plant operations.
- Develop preventative maintenance plans for all equipment.
- Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies for required operations.
- Maintain a safe and healthy working environment in accordance with all safety, USDA, and OSHA regulations.
- Communicate with peers, subordinates, and leaders in an effective, timely manner.
- Confer with management and suppliers to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2-3 years of equipment maintenance in manufacturing, including hydraulics, pneumatics, & electronics.
- 1 year of Lead or prior supervisory experience, preferably in the food industry.
Qualifications

Work Environment
The work environment is a plant / office setting with varying degrees of temperatures and noise levels. Exposure to manufacturing equipment movement and wet / slippery floors. Travel may be required.
