Responsibilities
- Prioritize, assign, and oversee daily work orders for a 11-person maintenance team; manage training, performance, and timekeeping.
- Execute and optimize the predictive/preventative maintenance (PM) program using CMMS/PMS software to minimize asset breakdowns.
- Diagnose equipment failures and implement sustainable mechanical and electrical solutions.
- Partner with the Maintenance Manager on capital expenditure (CapEx) and special facility projects.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance technician experience
- Minimum of 2 years of a supervisory or lead role – can be in the above 5 years!
- Need maintenance experience in the Food & Beverage manufacturing industry
- Balanced electrical and mechanical background with experience in motor control circuitry up to 480V (3-phase)
- Hands-on exposure to high-speed fillers, blow mold machines, air compressors, and conveyors
- PLC troubleshooting & programming experience in Rockwell / Allen Bradley
- Working knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems
- Proficiency with a CMMS
