What You'll Do as the Maintenance Supervisor
- Lead and supervise field maintenance personnel across active project sites
- Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules and equipment repairs
- Manage maintenance costs, budgets, and parts inventory
- Order parts, track equipment needs, and maintain vendor relationships
- Work closely with operations and project leadership to minimize equipment downtime
- Schedule technicians and allocate resources based on project demands
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reporting documentation
- Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improved reliability and efficiency
- Ensure maintenance work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards
- Travel to project sites as needed to support field teams and troubleshoot maintenance challenges
Must-Haves as the Maintenance Supervisor
- 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in construction, mining, heavy equipment, or related industries
- Strong understanding of preventative maintenance programs and equipment repair processes
- Experience managing maintenance schedules, labor allocation, and workflow planning
- Knowledge of parts procurement, inventory management, and cost control
- Able to lead, mentor, and hold field maintenance personnel accountable
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed
Nice-to-Haves as the Maintenance Supervisor
- Experience supporting heavy civil construction or mining operations
- Familiarity with CAT, Komatsu, Deere, Hitachi, Volvo, or similar heavy equipment fleets
- Experience with maintenance management software or fleet tracking systems
- MSHA experience or mining industry exposure
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting background
