Maintenance Supervisor

Our partner is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor in Casa Grande, AZ. The Maintenance Supervisor will work with the Maintenance Manager to develop, manage, and lead a maintenance organization focused on maintaining long-term competitiveness. This role requires team-building, people management, leadership, interpersonal communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. This is a second-shift position with a 12-hour rotating schedule (2-2-3). The position also requires participation in a 24-hour on-call rotation. Responsibilities Advance training and technical abilities within the maintenance staffOversee and provide training in electrical troubleshootingOversee major repairs and servicing of production and facility equipmentManage projects involving new production equipment and process improvementsPerform Siemens programming and additions to PLC processesOrganize equipment servicing by outside vendorsPlan maintenance services to be completed during shutdownsOversee parts inventory and orderingParticipate in and implement plant safety proceduresParticipate in the 24-hour on-call rotation and schedule personnel accordinglyParticipate in quality assurance improvementsReduce costs by improving and maintaining a structured preventive maintenance scheduleApply in-depth knowledge of processing technologiesCoordinate service work on production and process equipment with production teamsEnsure successful audits in the maintenance areaTroubleshoot and repair equipment failuresWork with production teams to decrease downtimeWork with the Assistant Manager on staffing and scheduling needsImplement corrective measures to improve qualityCoordinate wastewater-related needs with productionMonitor reverse osmosis (R/O) and dissolved air flotation (DAF) systemsOperate within budgetary parametersImprove production levels by increasing efficiencyConduct and maintain required maintenance staff records and documentationMaintain food safety and food quality by completing job tasks and keeping the work area sanitaryWear required food safety and sanitation clothingComply with personal hygiene regulationsReport food safety problems to personnel authorized to initiate corrective actionEnsure all required programs are followed and documentation remains currentSupervise maintenance technicians Requirements High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificateMinimum of five years of experience as an Electrical Technician in a manufacturing facility; food manufacturing experience is preferredPrior supervisory experienceTechnical diploma in a manufacturing electrical field is preferredRelevant military maintenance experience (2-3 years) or technical training is considered relevantKnowledge of electrical troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and repairAbility to manage maintenance projects, coordinate schedules, and oversee personnelStrong team-building, people management, and leadership skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills, including face-to-face, written, presentation, and cross-functional communicationAvailability to work second shift on a 12-hour rotating schedule (2-2-3)Ability to participate in a 24-hour on-call rotationAbility to follow food safety, sanitation, personal hygiene, and quality assurance requirements Benefits Comprehensive Total Rewards ProgramAffordable benefits and coverage optionsEmployer contributions toward insurance costsEmployer contributions to retirement plansPaid Time Off starting on the first dayTraining and professional development opportunitiesEducation reimbursement
