Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Supervisor is required to be “on-call” and to respond to emergency maintenance requests
• Responsible for breakdown repair and preventative maintenance activities throughout the plant and provide work training to less experienced maintenance staff
• Perform preventative maintenance, identify and correct problems of equipment using appropriate tools
• Adhere to governmental regulatory programs and policies
• Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades to mechanical systems
• Maintain good employee relations while establishing accountability for individual behaviors
• Engage in project planning
• Operate welding and cutting equipment
• Oversight of safety program and preventative maintenance
• Perform maintenance management by supervising maintenance personnel and establishing priorities in maintenance schedules

Requirements

• Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred
• 5 + years of industrial maintenance and electrical experience
• 2+ years of experience managing a maintenance team within a manufacturing environment
• Strong electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and troubleshooting experience
• Able to bring a maintenance team together, develop junior level maintenance staff and work in a team environment within a diverse workforce
• Strong sense of job ownership/accountability with effective verbal and written communication skills
• Must be flexible and able to work overtime and weekends when required
